Located 208 miles from Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock) is one of Australia’s most recognizable landmarks. Composed of sandstone infused with different mineral such as quartz and feldspar, Uluru stands over 1000 feet high and a circumference of over 6 miles. Its unique composition allows it to reflect the Red rays of the sun giving off its beautiful red glow during the morning and evening.

First named Uluru by the Aboriginal people, Uluru holds a significant spiritual meaning with many myths and legends surrounding it. Visitors to Uluru are encourage to walk around the base or visit the viewing platform to see it during the morning or evening, but are asked not to climb it.
