Day 4 - Sydney (B,L)
Discover Sydney's origins as you explore convict-built cottages, pubs, and Australia’s first church on a private Essential Sydney Experience. Travel east to the stunning Botanical Gardens in the heart of Sydney, passing historic Macquarie Street. Here, see Australia's first Parliament House, Mint, Hyde Park Barracks, and St. Mary’s Cathedral. The tour continues to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for a walking tour along the harbour's edge with breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Proceed through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross, and Rushcutters Bay to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia for lunch, home to the famous Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Pass through the affluent Darling Point, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse, and Watsons Bay, then head to Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach. Enjoy the beachside atmosphere, stroll along the esplanade, and perhaps indulge in an ice cream (at your own expense).
Return to Sydney via Oxford Street and Paddington, known for boutique shopping and charming Georgian and Victorian architecture, before concluding the tour back at your hotel.

After a leisurely morning, board a luxury cruiser and discover the beauty of Sydney Harbour and dine at iconic harborside restaurants. Begin with a warm welcome and enjoy complimentary soft drinks, sparkling wine, beer, wine, tea, and coffee as you depart. Sail past the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, with crew members sharing historical insights. See Woolloomooloo Bay, home of the Australian Navy’s Sydney Base Garden Island, and cruise by the opulent homes of Double Bay and Point Piper.
Pass Clarke and Shark Islands, Rose Bay, and Vaucluse before your first stop at Doyles on the Beach at Watsons Bay for a delightful entrée. After dining, reboard the boat and cruise past Sydney Heads, Manly, and into Middle Harbour. Stop at Balmoral Jetty for the main course at the Balmoral Public Dining Room. Choose from a menu of delectable dishes and beverages.
Back onboard, head to Spit Bridge, enjoying views of landscapes and cliffside homes in the North Shore district. Indulge in dessert and cheese platters as you return through Middle Harbour, passing Taronga Zoo and the Prime Minister's house. A swim stop is possible, time permitting.
